Na próxima segunda-feira, 25 de agosto, acontece a 66^a edição do Emmy Awards, maior prêmio da televisão americana. Parte dos prêmios (de categorias técnicas e participações especiais) foi entregue no dia 16 de agosto, deixando apenas as estatuetas principais para a cerimônia televisionada.

Este ano, o campeão de indicações é a série Game of Thrones, com 19, seguido por Fargo (18) e American Horror Story (17).

No dia 16, quem levou mais prêmios foi o programa de auditório Saturday Night Live (incluindo Melhor Direção), pouco à frente de Cosmos (cujo roteiro foi premiado) e de Game of Thrones, que já chega à festa do dia 25 com quatro troféus (nas categorias de arte).
