A 56ª edição do Grammy entrega, na noite deste domingo (26), prêmios aos melhores da música em 82 categorias no Staples Center, em Los Angeles.

Com mais de 20 atrações musicais, o Daft Punk foi o grande destaque da noite. Com vitórias em cinco categorias, incluindo Álbum do ano e Single do ano, o duo francês ganhou destaque pelo hit Get Lucky. Jay-Z e Taylor Swift, por outro lado, podem ser considerados as grandes decepções da noite. O rapper, campeão de indicações, com nove, subiu ao palco apenas uma vez, para receber a estatueta de Melhor colaboração de rap. Já a cantora country, que dificilmente sai de mãos vazias de qualquer premiação, não venceu em nenhuma das quatro categorias às quais foi indicada.

Entre os artistas que irão se apresentar durante a festa estão Madonna, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lorde, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, John Legend e Keith Urban, além de diversas parcerias, com destaque para a reunião de Paul McCartney e Ringo Starr.

Beyonce canta ao lado do marido, Jay-Z, a banda Metallica toca com Lang Lang, o Daft Punk se apresenta junto com Nile Rodgers, Pharell Williams e Stevie Wonder e o encerramento da cerimônia reúne Dave Grohl, líder do Foo Fighters, músicos das bandas Queens of the Stone Age e Nine Inch Nails e Lindsay Buckingham, cantor e guitarrista do Fleetwood Mac.

Entre os apresentadores da festa, conduzida por LL Cool J, estão músicos como Marc Anthony, os integrantes do Black Sabbath, Ariana Grande, Gloria Estefan, Steven Tyler e Yoko Ono, além de atores como Jeremy Renner, Julia Roberts, Anna Kendrick e Neil Patrick Harris, e ainda artistas que são músicos e atores, como Jared Leto e Jamie Foxx.
