Kenneth Anger, o Fetichista Pop

Conhecido como "poeta da luz", o cineasta Kenneth Anger, de 84 anos, rodou seu primeiro filme aos nove anos, intitulado Who´s Been Rocking My Dreamboat?. Seu trabalho é marcado pela fusão de surrealismo, ocultismo, sensualidade, erotismo, cores e tempos.

A obra dele poderá ser vista na mostra Kenneth Anger, o Fetichista Pop, em cartaz até 15 de maio, no Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, simultaneamente no Rio de Janeiro e em São Paulo. O cineasta norte-americano também estará presente nas duas capitais para uma conversa com o público.

Os 19 filmes que serão exibidos não têm falas, mas contam com acompanhamento musical de cantores como Elvis Presley, Ray Charles e Mick Jagger, que compôs a trilha de Invocation Of My Demon Brother (1966).
